Ahh....back from vacation. I always come back from vacation more exhausted than before I left.
Florida was fabulous. The weather was perfect, well most of the time. The humidity was somewhere around 95%. My hair freaked. I looked like I stuck my finger in a light socket most days. I met a couple from Corvallis on the bus back to the park. He was in his seventies. A Beaver Alumi of course. He doesn't seem to think that it rains much in Corvallis. I said he was suffing from denial. Got a laugh from everybody sitting around us, but I wasn't joking. Okay maybe a little. But it does rain alot in Corvallis.
So now it is back to the bump and grind of everyday life. Derek is back at work and heading out of town for 3 days next week and 3 days the following week. The kids have started school. They love it. Seems everybody is extra friendly at both of their schools. I am waiting to hear from the recuriter this week. I spoke to Mara on Thursday, she seemed excited that I was still interested in the job. Which would be nice to have, since we are now extra broke from vacation.
Still in boxes....just seems like I have garabage, I want new stuff. I already have our stimulus spent. I think it is time for a LCD TV. Of courses I don't have my husband on board with this yet. He has other ideas.....but I have faith I will prevail.
Well....tomorrow is church so I must get to bed. Our house is big, and I am lonely....feel free to come and visit!
Miss you all!!!!

Hey Seree, sounds like things are going well for you guys! I'm sure you'll get that job, they need you! So, i was on call tonight so we finished painting the stairwell and then brock pulled up the carpet on the stairs and and now we're tediously pulling out all the staples:) They're coming to install the carpet Mon/Tues. Brock's removing all the old carpet to save $500, which is probably worth it. We'll try to come over there around the end of May? We'll figure something out. Anyways, this comment is way too long! Talk to you soon!
Someone is doin' a little slackin' in the rambling department!
Hope all is well in Bend and you are making new friends. How are you liking your new pad? DO you like Bend so far?
It has been crazy busy at the hospital...hopefully things will settle down a bit this weekend.
